Happy Labor Day!
We hope all of our visitors had or are having a great Labor Day Weekend! We have definitely been seeing some hotter temperatures this past week and today is no exception. The fishing tends to slow down when it gets this hot - but we are still getting reports of fish being caught! Our water elevation is still hanging out around 1.5 feet below normal, is around 80 degrees, and semi-clear. The crappie have been good on minnows and jigs at 10 feet around docks, brush structures, and the spillway. White bass have been caught on crankbaits around 4 feet along the sandbar and the main channel. Catfish have been popular this past week mainly being caught on worms and cut bait. We are looking forward to the cooler temperatures that are being promised over the next week and hoping the fishing continues being good!
