"I was born in the OSU campus hospital, and graduated from OSU in 1981 with a B.S. in Recreation. Mother of two, and happily retired after 20 years serving in the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as a park superintendent and law enforcement officer. I returned home to Stillwater in 2020, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Lake McMurtry team serving as a park host."

Lake McMurtry is a special place for so many people. Mountain bikers, hikers, disc golfers, kayakers, trail runners, fishermen, and so many more call this park home.  There is a place here for everyone.

​Our staff strives to be representatives of the park users. We are grounded in our commitment to acting as stewards of the natural resources. We strongly believe this place belongs to the community.
