Lake McMurtry
Lake McMurtry offers RV and tent camping, swimming, fishing, boating, 35 miles of multi-use trails for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running, two 18-hole disc golf courses, kayak & SUP rentals, and watchable wildlife.
Group facilities, picnic areas, outdoor grills, fire rings, and restrooms are available, as well as RV dump stations, fishing docks, boat ramps, and a fishing house.

Daily Use Permit: per vehicle - $6
- Includes swimming, mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, picnicking, and observing our wildlife in both the East and West recreation areas. The day-use permit is for one vehicle on the specified date until 10 pm. Additional vehicles must purchase additional permits.
- To purchase a park day pass, visit the East or West headquarters or buy one online!
Annual Membership: per vehicle - $85
- Includes entrance into the East and West Recreation Areas 365 days a year from the date of purchase. Includes swimming, mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, picnicking, and observing our wildlife in both the East and West recreation areas. The annual permit can be transferred between two vehicles.
Tent Campsites - $25
- Includes one night of tent camping and activities at the lake. Three tents and two vehicles are allowed per tent site (only one vehicle permit is included with a reservation).
- 10% cancellation fee; no cancellation within two days
- Seasonal or event fees may apply
RV Campsites - $35-40
- Includes one night of RV camping and activities at the lake. One RV, one tent, and two vehicles are allowed per RV site (only one vehicle permit is included with a reservation). Electricity and water are available at each RV site. Dump stations are located on both the East and West recreation areas.
- $35/night - Low Season (Dec-Feb)
- $40/night - Peak Season (March-Nov)
- 10% cancellation fee; no cancellation within 2 days
- Seasonal or event fees may apply
Primitive / Gated Campsites - Pack-in Only - $50
- Includes one night of tent camping in a primitive campsite and activities at the lake. Three tents and two vehicles are allowed per gated site (only one vehicle permit is included with a reservation).
- $200 cleanup fee if applicable; 10% cancellation fee; no cancellation within 2 days

Kayak & Stand-Up Paddle Board Rentals
Boating Permits (motorized) - $10 day/ $125 year
- Please utilize the wash stations before & after launching the boat.
- Boating permits do not cover day pass fees.
- Permits can be purchased at West Side Headquarters.
- No boating after 10pm.

Pavilion Rentals
Pavilions are located in both the East and West recreation areas and can be rented for parties, reunions, picnics, and other events. Vehicle passes are included with each rental. Additional vehicle passes can be purchased at the daily permit price. To reserve a pavilion, please call us at 405-533-1831.
