We've been having some different temperatures the last few days for August in Oklahoma but the heat is about to return with a vengeance! 


Lake McMurtry's elevation is just under normal pool and the water is in the lower 80's and semi-clear. Crappie have been good on minnows and jigs around the docks, brush structures, and at the sandbar. Some white bass have been caught in the past few days near the spillway and a few channel catfish around the West fishing house and dock.
