West Picnic Area Reclaimed

The west side of Lake McMurtry has amazing scenery. It's wooded areas provide a great view to natures backdoor. One common area that has been in dire need of help is the picnic tables located across from the West Pavilion. This area is perfect for taking your afternoon lunch and sitting under the shade trees to watch the birds and critters of the forest. Thanks to our Eagle Scout Project park visitors can now relax in a newly updated picnic area.
